Moscow Domodedovo Airport Invites Journalists and Bloggers to Have a Glance at the Future

A press tour for the journalists of Russian and foreign mass media and the bloggers will be held in Moscow Airport Domodedovo on 27 September 2011 at 11:00. The theme of the tour is Long-term Development of Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Domodedovo Aerotropolis.

The key speakers are the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moscow Domodedovo Airport Dmitry Kamenshik, the Head of the Domodedovo Municipal Territory Administration Dmitry Gorodetsky, Professor, Ph. D. of the North Carolina State University and the founder of the Aerotropolis territorial development theory John Casarda.

The tour guests will obtain the information on the strategic construction and development projects of Moscow Domodedovo Airport: construction of the cargo village and multi-level parking, development of the airfield complex, and reconstruction of the terminal building, etc. They will learn about the project for the airport city - Aerotropolis Domodedovo - a new form of urban development, which includes business parks, logistic and industrial centers, shopping malls, technology, information and communications centers, etc. Also they will get acquainted with the results and plans of the strategic partnership between the airport of the Domodedovo Municipal District.
