Plans of VIM-AVIA Airlines for the spring-summer flying period in 2010
Within the spring-summer flying period of 2010 the line net of charter international flights of VIM-AVIA will be essentially changed to compare with 2009.
During the autumn-winter flying period of 2009 a part of charter flights was switched over to regular basis in particular Rimini and Tenerife. New places of destination became regular flights such as Gyanja, Lankaran, Andijan, Osh, which are also planned to be operated during the spring-summer flying period of 2010.
There will be resumed season charter flights from Moscow and regional Russian centers to the cities of Europe — Spain, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, and also to the resorts of Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia. The airline is also planning to open new international lines.
VIM-AVIA is waiting for stabilization of the economy to influence increase of passengers number, and that fact is already confirmed by the data of TCH (Transport Clearing House), for the period of New Year vacation — the quantity of flights increased nearly twice to compare with 2009.
On the average, if this tendency keeps stable, next year VIM-AVIA plans to increase the quantity of passengers by 20%.
A little correction of the program (increase) is possible in connection with periodical stage of successful program of the fleet rotation which began in 2008. As part of the program the airline fleet will be added with 46 wide body aircrafts.
