The results of the Air Educational Center of VIM-AVIA Airlines

1759 air stewards were trained at Air Educational Center of VIM-AVIA Airlines in 2009; 1040 members of air crew were trained at Air Educational Center.

Air Educational Center was established in 2004 and now is extensively preparing skilled air specialists of wide range not only for its own need but also for the airlines of the Russian Federation and for close neighboring countries.

The Educational Center is growing and developing. It increases its technical equipment and updates its program of training. That is why 8 other airlines sent their members of air crews for training in 2010.

Nowadays material and technical resources of the Educational Center impress: computer rooms, video projectors, video-, audio-tapes, language laboratory. The equipment of technology of passengers’ services classes includes buffet-kitchen equipment and also a fragment of real aircraft body. The training is very close to real conditions aboard the aircraft and it gives the opportunity to obtain necessary knowledge and skills which will be useful in future work.
