International Sheremetyevo Airport has made the industrial resumes over the period ofВ July and seven months ofВ 2011. AВ quantity ofВ the serviced passengers from the beginning ofВ year has grown byВ 16.7% toВ 12В mln 392 thousands inВ comparison with the analogous period ofВ the last year.
Passenger flow on the international air lines (IAL) in January — July grew by 19% and composed 8 mln 039 thousands of people, on the internal air lines (IAL) — by 12.7% to 4 mln 353 thousands of passengers.
In July 2011, Sheremetyevo Airport serviced 2 mln 466 thousands of travelers by air, which is 16.1% more than during the analogous period of the last year. In this case a quantity of passengers on IAL grew by 19.4% to 1 mln 611 thousands, on Internal Air Lines — by 10.5% to 854.3 thousands.
The most popular foreign directions in seven months of the present year: Antalia, Paris, Istanbul, Prague, Kiev, Pekin, and federal — Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Sochi, Yekaterinburg and Kaliningrad. Antalia, Sochi, Bangkok, Larnaca, Sharm el-Sheikh were the most popular among foreign directions of mass summer vacation.
Air companies “Aeroflot”, “Avianova”, “Nordavia”, “Transaero”, “North wind”, “Aerosvit”, “Air France” and “Turkish Airlines” have provided the main growth of the passenger flow over the period from January to July, 2011.
Sheremetyevo Airport has provided the execution ofВ 118.3 thousands ofВ takeoff and landing operations (TLO) over the period from January toВ July ofВ 2011, which isВ 15% more than over the analogous period ofВ 2010. AВ quantity ofВ TLO inВ July has increased byВ 13% toВ 20.1В thousands.
